The Auckland police at midnight raided a Chinese house occupied by Harry Wong and arrested Wong and fourteen other Chinese found there, the former on a charge of being the occupant of and the latter with being found in a common gaming-house. The police effected an entrance by a side window, and by forcing a door which was barricaded. Some of the Chinese were caught on the roof and others in the coal cellar.
