CHINESE. CHURCH.ACTIVITIES FOR YEAR.HEALTHY finances shown year the financial position of the Chinese
Christian Church, which has been established in Auckland for eight, years, has
improved, states the annual report of the minister, the Rev. Y. S. Chau. During
the past ten months, he states, collections and special dona£lo S 6 totalled

Mr. Chau states that on Sunday mornings services are held in his home. Sunday
school is held in the afternoon and the mam service is held in the church at
night. There is an average attendance of over 70 at this service. foJ I mbere

study class back to China, where he will be able to study with a view to
helping the church further. Mr. Chau visits Chinese gardens and shops weekly
and keeps in touch with sick Chinese and Chinese visitors on ships. Once a year
